I decided to see Michelle late in my pregnancy, I was about 32 weeks. It was a last minute decision, but one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Michelle is such a caring person. I’m so thankful I had her through this! The week before I had my son I had prodromal labor every day I would get contractions that would lead to nothing. It was exhausting not only physically, but emotionally. The day before I gave birth I had my 38 week check up with Michelle. She knew what I’ve been going through and knew I was exhausted. That’s when I had a heart to heart with her and I just CRIED AND CRIED! She sat there with me and listened and gave me great advice. I think the visit went from 1:45 till almost 3pm! (You don’t get that at an obgyn office) and she sat there with me! After that I felt amazing like a HUGE weight was off my shoulders. The next day I woke up from the BEST sleep I’ve had my entire pregnancy. Everything was normal till about 3pm when I started feeling some mild contractions 2-3min apart. I didn’t think too much since I had been dealing with this for a whole week! But then at 4pm they got extremely intense and let Michelle know she arrived and helped me through it. I don’t know if I could have done it without her by my side coaching me through it all. By 9:26pm my beautiful son was born. I wish I had the words to describe how it felt to catch my own son and watch him take his first breath in my hands. Simply incredible. I wish all the mommies could have Michelle by their side through this, she is such an amazing and caring person.
